WIFE OF POPULAR LAGOS BUSINESS MAN IVD DIES........

Wife of popular businessman IVD dies after complaining of domestic violence. Bimbo, the wife of popular car dealer Ikechukwu Ogbonna, better known as IVD, is dead after crying out multiple times about suffering ab.se in her marriage.  Bimbo reportedly suffered severe burns during a v!olent incident at their residence in Megamound estate, Lekki, Lagos, on Wednesday, October 12, 2022, and it ultimately led to her death.  Sources claim Bimbo confronted her husband IVD on Wednesday over the constant beat!ngs she receives, and a f!ght ensued.  Neighbours claim they heard Bimbo's screams during the f!ght.  The f.ght resulted in their house being set ablaze.  IVD was said to have escaped with minor burns.  Bimbo suffered severe burns and was rushed to the intensive care unit last night. SOLUDO AWARDS CONTRACTS TO CONSTRUCT FLYOVER, MORE ROADS Governor Charles Chukwuma Soludo, Governor of Anambra State is gradually making good his promise to turn Anambra State into one huge road construction site, all in a bid to ultimately make travelling around the state easier and pleasurable. To this end, Anambra State Executive Council (ANSEC) recently approved and awarded contracts for the construction of a flyover at Ekwulobia to decongest the hellish traffic jam often experienced at the roundabout. Other adjoining roads around the area to be constructed include the Nanka –Ekwulobia – Aguata local government headquarters road (2.0km); Ekwulobia – Oko road (0.825km) and Ekwulobia – Isuofia road (1.125km). The leader of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Mazi Nnamdi Kanu has just been freed by The Appeal Court, Abuja Division.   Currently, Mazi Kanu is being tried by the federal government before a Federal High Court in Abuja, for a 15 count charge bordering on treasonable felony and terrorism, he had allegedly committed these crimes during the course of his separatist campaigns.   However, three-man panel of the Appellate court said the High Court lacked the jurisdiction to try him in view of his abduction and extraordinary rendition to Nigeria in flagrant violation of the OAU convention and protocol on extradition.  Era Of Rigging Is Gone Say's INEC Nigeria’s electoral umpire, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has said that it has tamed elections rigging in the country through the Electoral Act 2022 signed into law by President Muhammadu Buhari. The INEC said that ahead of the 2023 general elections, with the signing of the Electoral Act 2022, the use of the Bimodal Voter Registration System (BVAS) and other strict measures launched by the commission, no Nigerian will be able to vote twice in each of the 2023 general elections.
